Our Approach to Online Learning

Since 2016 here at Rainbow Yoga we have offered 100% online studies in Kids Yoga Teacher Training. The online certificate redefines what online studies are and they have been created by our Founder, Gopala Amir Yaffa. Gopala wrote the book on teaching kids yoga and our online course has been created specifically for those who want the flexibility of studying online, at their own pace and from the comfort of home.

100% Online

You enrol and study through the online learning platform. Practical teaching is part of the course, so plan time with children as well as time with the lessons. For Level 1, you submit a short teaching video, class plan and playlist. The online learning and assessment guide explains what to prepare.

Use the course platform to ask the training team for help when you need it. Learning online still includes reflection, feedback and the practical work of becoming a teacher.

What’s it like studying Rainbow Yoga online? 

The training combines independent study with opportunities to learn from the training team and fellow students. Gopala Amir Yaffa leads the core online learning.

The approach we take to online learning means you complete all course outcomes through an interactive and engaging platform including; videos, lectures, downloadable PDFs, online reading material, practical assessments and short quizzes. 

You don’t need to buy any books to complete this training online, everything you need is provided to you in our easy to use learning platform. 

Connect and interact with your other students taking the training online and make friends all over the world! Through a safe digital learning environment. 

Learning Support 

Ask for help when a lesson or assessment instruction is unclear.

Use the HELP option in your course platform for learning support. For enrolment or access questions, contact the Rainbow Yoga team. The Level 1 course guidance asks you to allow up to 14 days for video-assessment feedback.

When do I study

Build your study schedule around work and family. Level 1 Online is approximately 50 hours; the Full Journey combines it with the 95-hour Level 2. Leave time for practice, submissions and feedback. The product page states the current course-access terms.

A Rainbow Yoga course certificate follows successful completion of the published requirements. Professional registration is separate. Read the kids yoga certification guide to understand the distinction and check the requirements of your intended workplace or insurer.
