What is included and how to choose
Turn 28 days into a family adventureAcross 28 short video lessons, children and adults explore Flying Yoga, partner balances, playful transitions and human pyramids. The real achievement is not getting highest or looking perfect. It is learning to communicate, support one another, wobble without drama and try again together.Feel the joy first
Base, flyer and spotterThe base creates a stable foundation. The flyer explores the shape. The spotter watches closely, helps guide the flyer and is never a decorative extra. Rotate roles when suitable so children experience supporting, being supported and looking after the group.
How the 28 days unfoldDays 1–7: prepare the space, learn the three roles and begin with low counterbalances.Days 8–14: share weight gradually, practise clear cues and explore simple flying progressions.Days 15–21: link familiar shapes and experiment with transitions.Days 22–28: bring the foundations together in group balances and celebratory pyramids.Sample lesson: BackpackBuild toward flowing shapes
Safety before skills• Children do not practise unsupervised.• Clear the floor, remove jewellery and use a stable, non-slip, softly padded surface.• Learn low before moving higher and use a focused spotter for every unfamiliar balance.• “Stop” means stop immediately. Dismounts deserve as much attention as the pose.• Stop with pain, dizziness, numbness, fear, breath-holding or loss of control. Why “too high” is not the goal
Clear promise: this is a family participation challenge, not teacher-training certification, medical treatment or a promise that every body should perform every shape. Adults remain responsible for deciding what suits their people and space.

Clear answers to common questions
Is this a teacher certification?
No. This is a practical family acro challenge, not a teacher-training certification. Educators can adapt suitable ideas within their qualifications, safeguarding responsibilities and professional judgement.
Do we need yoga or acrobatics experience?
No. The challenge begins close to the ground and develops step by step. Repeat, simplify or skip any activity that is not steady and comfortable for your group.
What ages is it for?
It is generally designed for children aged 5+ practising with an attentive adult. Age alone does not determine readiness, so adapt to each child’s body, confidence, attention and ability to follow safety directions.
What do we need?
Two to four people, a clear soft practice area or yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water and optional cushions or folded blankets. Remove jewellery and nearby obstacles before beginning.
Is family acrobatics risk-free?
No physical acrobatics program is risk-free. Keep every new skill low, use an attentive spotter, communicate continuously and stop with pain, fear or loss of control. Adults remain responsible for deciding what is suitable.
Can teachers and homeschool groups use it?
Yes. Yoga teachers, PE teachers, classroom educators, clubs and homeschool groups can adapt appropriate activities with suitable supervision, safeguarding, consent and professional judgement.
Must we finish one lesson every day?
No. The 28-day structure creates momentum, not pressure. Pause, repeat favourite lessons and move forward only when the foundations feel comfortable.
