Sally Lomas

Sally Lomas was born in London and has since lived and worked in the UK, Australia and California. With the birth of her first child in 1988 she became interested in yoga and was inspired to move into the specialised world of birth and babies. She qualified as an Active Birth teacher in 1997 and then continued her training with Françoise Freedman in Cambridge and began teaching Birthlight Antenatal Yoga and Baby Yoga, later moving into the world of Aqua Yoga and Baby Swimming.

Sally is now a director of Birthlight Teaching Ltd, Joyful Babies and Joyful Dolphin swim school. She has been involved in the development of Birthlight teacher trainings and whilst based in Cambridge she travels internationally to tutor courses.

Professional connections include training teachers for Sure start, Touch Learn and Kids Unlimited, Calm-a- Baby, Rainbow Kids and Turtle Tots. Sally is also a qualified Montessori teacher and councillor and has many years experience working with parents and babies.

Sally now has four children and still enjoys teaching locally continuing to care passionately about supporting women and their families through the journey of pregnancy, birth and parenting.

Since 1998, Arturo has crafted the curriculum and co-lead the Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Trainings with collaborator Cheri Clampett. His diverse background provides him with the ability to help students and clients to fully understand the multidimensional nature of the human body.

Additionally, Arturo holds a B.F.A. in Music and a fourth-degree black belt in Aikido that provide him with the opportunity to incorporate music and martial arts into his rich and nurturing classes and private sessions.
